deVere Group issues urgent warning against fraudulent website

deVere Group, one of the world's largest independent financial advisory, asset management and fintech organisations, is issuing an urgent warning to potential and existing clients, investors, and the public at large about a fraudulent website operating under the domain devere-me.com

This deceptive platform falsely presents itself as an official deVere Group website and engages in suspected fraudulent activities, putting individuals – and their funds – at risk.

"It has come to our attention that this site has been designed with the sole intent of deceiving users by mimicking the appearance and content of the legitimate deVere Group website," says deVere Group CEO Nigel Green.

"This malicious act is not only a serious infringement on our brand integrity, but it puts clients and potential clients in danger of financial malpractice, and we're taking immediate action to address and rectify the situation."

deVere Group would like to emphasise that the company's official website is www.devere-group.com

The deceptive website, devere-me.com, is attempting to mislead users into providing personal and financial information, which may lead to identity theft, financial loss, and other forms of fraudulent activities.

It is crucial for individuals to exercise extreme caution and verify the authenticity of the website they are interacting with, especially when dealing with financial institutions.

"deVere Group has already reported this fraudulent website to the relevant authorities, and we are actively pursuing all legal avenues to shut down the imposter site. Additionally, we have implemented enhanced security measures to protect our clients and the public from falling victim to such scams in the future," says Nigel Green.

The company strongly advises anyone who suspects they may have been targeted by the fraudulent website to cease all interactions immediately and report the incident to their local authorities. If you have any doubts about the legitimacy of any communication purportedly from deVere Group, please contact our official customer support channels for verification.

The CEO concludes: "deVere Group remains committed to the highest standards of security and client protection. We apologise for any inconvenience or concern caused by this fraudulent activity and assure our clients and the public that we are taking every necessary step to address the situation promptly."
