Countdown is on to Barcelona’s extravagant deVere Spain Charity Ball
One of Britain’s best-known TV and radio personalities, Johnny Vaughan, is hosting one of Barcelona’s most highly-anticipated and lavish fundraising events, the deVere Spain Charity Ball.
More than 100 invited guests, amongst them business leaders, media and society personalities, are expected to attend this year’s high octane ball being held at the city’s world famous W Hotel on Saturday 1st October.
With a swanky champagne reception, a sumptuous dinner, fine wines, performances from Barcelona’s Aishah Davis Band and highly acclaimed singer Florea who will perform alongside electronic music producer Youp, Johnny Vaughan will be compere for the evening, leading the fun in his own unique style, and an after party where one of Barcelona’s most in-demand DJ's will keep revellers on the dancefloor until the early hours, organisers say the event will be an unforgettable evening.
Andrew Davies, Barcelona Area Manager at deVere Spain, part of deVere Group, one of the world’s largest independent financial advisory organisations, comments: “Our guests will be swept into an opulent world which will be a feast for all five senses. Attendees would expect nothing less”.
“And whilst they’re enjoying the evening they’ll know they are raising money for AFANOC, an incredible, life-enhancing Barcelona charity that helps children with cancer. The money raised will add real value to their life-changing works”.
“Our organisation as a whole has some 80,000 clients in over 100 countries worldwide and we have in excess of $10 billion under management,” he added.
“Whilst we may have a truly global presence, wherever we are in the world, we are local. Our client relationships are one to one and consequently we have a one to one relationship with the communities that we serve”.
“And that’s why deVere is proud to support AFANOC”.
Mr Davies concludes: “We’re looking forward to great evening and we hope to raise a considerable amount of money for this great cause!”
